IDŐUTAZÁS A DÜBÖRGŐ HÚSZAS ÉVEKBE - A Bratislava Hot Serenaders Orchestra swing-jazz koncertje
METTRIN Rendezvény- és Művészeti KözpontHot jazz, sweet music, and dance music—the big band music of the 20th century, which arrived in Europe from America in the late 1920s and still definitely makes us want to dance.
The Bratislava Hot Serenaders Orchestra takes its audience back to the lively era of 1920s hot jazz and 1930s sweet dance music. The orchestra promises an unforgettable experience by evoking a musical era that is long gone but certainly not forgotten. All this with authentic 100-year-old instruments and the era’s costumes.
HALLGASSON FÜLEIRE! - Fülei Balázs zongoraművész komolyzenei hangverseny- és beavatósorozata
METTRIN Rendezvény- és Művészeti KözpontThe „Listen to Your Ears!” series invites listeners on a shared musical journey, where we can experience well-known and lesser-known piano pieces through our five senses. We will hear the difference: music can be played more sweetly, more darkly, more harshly, more smoothly, more perfumely, more softly, or more sharply – since music is the life proper surrounding us. Listening to Balázs Fülei’s performances we also realize that the perception of music works mainly through our open hearts and alert senses.

METTRIN Rendezvény- és Művészeti KözpontFrom November on Anna Pásztor, the multiple Fonogram Award-winning singer, actress, and songwriter will appear at METTRIN ARTS CENTER in a completely new role.
START LIVING! is neither a theatrical performance, a concert, nor a therapy— but it is a little bit of all of these. It is an inspiring forum where the soul can breathe, the spirit can roam freely, and we can be ourselves for a little period of time.

Pénelopeia, a Maladype Színház előadása
METTRIN Rendezvény- és Művészeti KözpontPenelopiad is Margaret Atwood’s unique myth adaptation of Homer’s Odyssey, the Trojan War, and the queen of Ithaca, Penelope, the embodiment of female fidelity: a modern-day echo and reflection of Penelope’s story, transposed into a dramatic structure. The highly successful novel written in 2005 is an extension of the tragic fate of Penelope in the captivity of Hades, a projection of the pain and guilt felt by the cruel murder that claimed the lives of the Handmaids.

MADRE/ANYA, a Teatro delle Albe előadása
METTRIN Rendezvény- és Művészeti KözpontMADRE is the story of a son and his mother, who lives on a farm: she has fallen into a well. Was she distracted? Is she losing her mind? Did she do it on purpose? This is not a dialogue, it is a diptych made up of two monologues. He scolds her then goes to look for tools; winches and muskets, iron tubes and pulleys, all the “technology” required to pull her out. From deep inside herself, and from inside a well that’s as deep as infinity, she confesses. She’s not afraid, and she doesn’t feel distressed.
